Haven’t posted in a while. Had to do a quicky of a bike for a friend, heres the progress :)
Super fast concept for a friend to practice her 3D modeling. Its a bit complex, but it was fast as all heck.
Heres another WiP I did of my friend. Shes a beautiful Korean girl whos trying to make a few sequential paintings for her manfriend. Here is the start of the first one :3
This is a quicky I did for Megan Lara. She had a portrait contest and she chose 2 or so people that I knew, and 8 or so others I didn’t. I was upset I wasn’t chosen, so I did one of her in what I believe to be her style, and put it on her wall HOPING that she’d finally do me ;)
I know its been a while since I posted, but here is why its been forever!
Advanced Drawing is a wonderful horrible gigantic pain in my butt, and I love every minute of it. These are all works in progress for the final (3 LARGE 11x17 300DPI) prints. The Orthographic shots are just PART of the final piece. Heres hoping it holds up to Captain Yeagers’ standards!
Page#28 - Champ! Dads dog. Its a boxer. Not much more to say than that!
Page#27 - Khaleesi Daenarys. #1 Best character in the show (aside from Tyrion ofcourse) Took forever to find a screencap I liked of her face, but this one will do. It was a tie between this one and the one with the dragon on her shoulder. Maybe I’ll do that one later. I’m done with portraits for the night. They are taking too much time, and I need to work on hands before the nights done! EEK!
Page#26 - Midas Lovejoy. This is a pretty cool dog that SHOULD be in the series, but isn’t because he lives in Colorado. My sisters pup who is a really cool dog, and is super muscular. The reference I had didn’t really capture that, but I’ll do more. I need to practice doing creatures as well to develop my anatomy awesomeness. BOW WOW! This ones for you Midas!
Page#25 - Margaery Tyrell. My second favorite female character in the show. Sexy and smart. Very much a survivalist in the storyline whos really looking out for herself, and her…..interesting…brother. <333 Love her so much ahhh!
Page#24 - Circe Lannister. I did this one because I hate her SO MUCH! She is just such an evil character! I guess that makes her a good actress! I will say now, I hate doing hair with this many values. I think for Khaleesi, i’ll only do 3 instead of like…6-7 that are in Circes hair.
Page#23 - Khal Droga. One of my other favorites from Game of Thrones. I was so upset when he and Eddard got pulled out of the series so abruptly…RAGE! But this guy was a beast. I think I may do Khaleesi or Circe next :3
Page#22 - Tyrion Lannister. Game of Thrones has basically taken over my waking dreams and such and I can’t stop thinking about that universe. My favorite character is this charismatic little man, known as the “imp”. If you haven’t started watching the show, you need to yesterday.
Page#21 - Moar hands? Doin’ some hands and neck studies. Will do more obviously but gotta vary so I don’t get bored with them. FAST STUDIES!
Picture for ADFA MOSTLY finished. Now just need to fix a few small anatomy issues and address my line quality! Wee!!
